Out with the old, In with the new, New Year 2013

Hello to all! I know i havent been around... holidays and what not.. and just not being online too much... Thank you to those who had wish me and my family wonderful holiday wishes. I do hope you all had a wonderful holiday as well....

Its the end of another year.. yep.. had to say it, its not as if havent seen it around EVERY WHERE.. but i had to go and say it also.. lol. and as always, people reflect on the year pasted, and the years to come..Usually i have many many "ideas" and thoughts that i want to change.. and end up.. never changing.. so this year.. im not going to dwell on it.. im just going to take a day at a time.. and make each day the best i can.

I did finish all my projects i had started this year, so, i can start the new year out right on that front!! look for some sewing and drawing. I received a machine for Christmas, and can not wait to make some things!! (but, atlas, house work first)..

I will be taking everything out my shop, and donating it to a local charity thrift store in town.. and soon i will be making more items for the shop, Commissions are open.. crochet, or knitting... Art trades are open!!! and would be very welcomed!

Ok, so i promised a review on some knitting tips on seaming a seam.. and i also have a really great stretchy bind off i used in my latest project, Envisioned cowl.

 On this sweater, i used:
for the seaming of the arm holes and the sides. It worked great and was very easy and fast to do!

Envisioned Cowl (pattern in testing, will link when uploaded)
I used: Lots of yarn blog for the stretchy bind off, i went with the
K2tbl Bind Off with a stitch between for cast off.

That cast off is easy to do, and is very stretchy, which is needed on the edging of a garment!!

That clears up all that i said i was going to do, for this year, atleast. :) I will be trying to get at least a post a week out.. never know what im gonna do next, so, keep your eyes open. Feel free to suggest, or request items to be made, techniques to try, any and all comments are welcomed!

Have safe and wonderful Year to come!
