Valentines day basket and news..

hello everyone! i am working on the basket, promise! i hoped to have it finished by the 15th (jan) but dont know if i will have it done today, due to My father-in-law is having severe health issues...

I have the apron made, need good pictures taken of it by hubby in the day time.

I have one of the stuff animals made- Valentine the lamb (will try to make another animal, depend on how things go)

                              

I have 2 butterfly candles made- a blue one and a red one

i am working on knitting the first dishcloth, half way done with it...

I now, hope to have things done and take a picture to open the raffle, no later than Jan. 20. and keep the raffle going until Feb. 3.

Tickets will be $1.00. will have all the final info when i have the basket completed with awesome pictures!

just wanted to give everyone an update.

The applique is actually for sell in my shop  Stag Applique I am finished with knitting momma's baby blanket gift.  Now i am weaving ends in. Will post pictures of it when completely finished. Knitted baby blanket, Tunisian shrug, Stag applique

Hello to All.. .i know i havent posted in a few days.. ive been sick.. but, i am feeling better.. and busy as ever. I am almost finished with the knitted baby blanket i am making for my mother to give as a gift. Here is a "work in progress" picture. i only have the top border to do to finish the blanket, then when it gets closer time to the due date, i will add the initials. Here is a Tunisian shrug i started years ago. My own design. Probably gonna sell it. Measures: approx. 38inches across (arm, across back, arm) and is approx. 9inches from top of neck down the back. the open chest/back area measures 21.5 inches across. Arm length is approx 8inches. I wear about L/XL shirt and this is just a little snug on me. Quilled Teddy Bear Pattern

Hello to All!!  I have for you,  a quilled pattern of a teddy bear with a balloon. My son and myself came up with it! Materials: we used construction paper that has been ran through a shredder they measure 12in by 1/4in. 10 brown - 12in strips 4 brown- 6in strips 2 red- 12in strips (balloon) 2 pink - 12in strips (balloon) 2 pink- 3in strips 2 black - 1.5 in strips Now, glue- 3 strips of brown together at the end, making one long piece for the body 2 strips of brown glued together for the head 1 strip of 12in and 1 strip of 6in of brown together for legs (make 2) 1 strip of 6in brown and 3 in of pink together for the ears (make 2)  1 strip of red and 1 strip of 12in pink together for the balloon (make 2)  a great site to help with the shapes is  Paper Quilling Instructions Body: Bunny Ear or Shield shape Head: loose closed coil Legs: bunny ear or shield shape Arms: teardrop ears: half moon or crescent shape  muzzle:

Valentines Day Basket Raffle is OPEN!

Valentines Day Basket Raffle is now open!! Here are the items that will come in the basket: 2- blue Chocolate-Peppermint Truffle scent candles 3- red Baked Cinnamon Roll candles Optional: winner has option to have candles re-made without scent.  1 half apron, measuring: 18in wide by 15.5in tall Material is Pink sparkle burst with glitter for main apron, and ruffle/waistband is white with little hearts.  2 hand knitted cloths made from Cotton Fleece. great for using in the kitchen (i use mine all the time.) The square one measures 9in by 9in. the heart measures 7in wide by  5in tall.  My son insisted on making a beaded snake to throw in the basket. 1 crochet animal: an adorable little lamb made with pink and purple acyrlic yarn. with beaded eyes, not for little babies. measures: 4in sitting up.
