Sad way to finish Jan 2017 into Feb

Hello to all, The last week of January has been unexpected... I lost my grandfather. My moms father. I called him Pepa.  I had some really good memories growing up  to remember. We werent as close when i grew up, I kinda went off and did my own thing Now, looking back, i wish some things were different, maybe i should have tried a little harder, but hindsight shows nothing that can be changed. I can not believe a man, so tall, strong and bullheaded can fall so fast and leave in a blink of an eye. Death of a love one opens and test beliefs that one may have I am glad that he is not suffering and may he rest in peace. I did make his wife, an angel, but during the grief process,  i had completely forgot to take a photo. I did make my first bigger ribbon rose using a tutorial on youtube for it. All the prayer angels i make come from the heart and grief i feel. No angels are ever the same..  I have had a few things i was workin...

Hello everyone! I can not believe it's been since September since I've posted! I guess that's what happens when your lifestyle changes! Going from stay at home mom to working mom has been so busy and tiring!  I've not had a bunch of time to craft or the energy, but I will show what I have been up to....  This is an ornament that I made for secret Santa coworker ornament exchange. She loves hunting!  ^A rose from my mom's garden, it was too beautiful to pass up taking a photo!  ^A page from a coloring book and pen set that was gifted by an awesome friend! Thanks for stopping by, I hope to post at least weekly again, and you never know what's going to come! Be safe, have fun, and enjoy the new year! ~hazel~crochetamommy
