Catch up from the week: Pants, Quilling card, watercolor and more

Hello to all!!
I know i havent posted this week as much as i have the last two,
but with homeschooling starting and me having 2 dr appt this week,
crafting and posting have been slow.

I have gotten a few things done, so here we go!!

Remember i said i was making something for a friend, and couldnt show
until she received it in the mail, well... she did, and loved it, and here it is!
from my own pattern! and will be having another one made soon too!
he measures about 2in tall. made with cotton yarn and size 0 steel hook. 

And for what you all been waiting for, more baby set pictures.!.
i finished the pants, i will soooo modify the pattern the next time i make it!
(please forgive background, just grabbed one of my son's baby blankets for background)
and added ribbon to booties:
and to jacket, all i need to do is sew on a few buttons:

I am still looking for a blanket pattern to make to go with this.. want something 
danity and old fashion to go with this set...

Here is a work in progress picture of a card i am making for 
my niece, my only niece for her bday. it is time
consuming and wonderfully beautiful!

not sure how much more im going to add, thinking that less 
may be more on this one.. really happy with the way its turning out.
and the inside is:

the other night my son and i were crafting, 
we decided to watercolor a picture
 (love beginning of school year! cheap supplies!)
and this is what i colored, 
it was fun and we both really enjoyed!

    1. Thank you! Yes, my own pattern. Just made another one that was slightly different b/c i didnt write the first one down, hopefully will write a second one to make it like the first, will offer both patterns on here!
      Yes, the ribbons double the adorably of the baby set!!

Knitted baby blanket, Tunisian shrug, Stag applique

Hello to All.. .i know i havent posted in a few days.. ive been sick.. but, i am feeling better.. and busy as ever. I am almost finished with the knitted baby blanket i am making for my mother to give as a gift. Here is a "work in progress" picture. i only have the top border to do to finish the blanket, then when it gets closer time to the due date, i will add the initials. Here is a Tunisian shrug i started years ago. My own design. Probably gonna sell it. Measures: approx. 38inches across (arm, across back, arm) and is approx. 9inches from top of neck down the back. the open chest/back area measures 21.5 inches across. Arm length is approx 8inches. I wear about L/XL shirt and this is just a little snug on me. Quilled Teddy Bear Pattern

Hello to All!!  I have for you,  a quilled pattern of a teddy bear with a balloon. My son and myself came up with it! Materials: we used construction paper that has been ran through a shredder they measure 12in by 1/4in. 10 brown - 12in strips 4 brown- 6in strips 2 red- 12in strips (balloon) 2 pink - 12in strips (balloon) 2 pink- 3in strips 2 black - 1.5 in strips Now, glue- 3 strips of brown together at the end, making one long piece for the body 2 strips of brown glued together for the head 1 strip of 12in and 1 strip of 6in of brown together for legs (make 2) 1 strip of 6in brown and 3 in of pink together for the ears (make 2)  1 strip of red and 1 strip of 12in pink together for the balloon (make 2)  a great site to help with the shapes is  Paper Quilling Instructions Body: Bunny Ear or Shield shape Head: loose closed coil Legs: bunny ear or shield shape Arms: teardrop ears: half moon or cr...

My yellow climbing rose update. Top picture was March and this bottom one is from Mother's day. I'm so glad it's surviving! I also planted another one, but it's either red or orange..I don't remember! Lol Here is what I made my mom for Mothers day. I was inspired by a pintrest. Its a small clay pot with air dry clay and paint turning it into a fairy garden house... I may make her a while little set... It was my 2nd time working with air dry clay, I greatly enjoyed it. Here was the first time, a gift to my son for his birthday: Here is a little picture I just colored while listening to an audio book, it was very relaxing!  And just for fun, here is my ferret baby, his name is Shiro-san Yes, his eyes are red!
